Meds “Minus” Your Nutrition
Besides environment, lifestyle, nutrient intake, and the other previously mentioned causes, another common source of nutrient deficiency comes from the use of medications. Sadly, as we age, typically we take more medications, and our bodies are already nutritionally compromised. Ironically, many medications further deplete the nutrients most needed to combat and offset the condition they treat. Could it be that if the nutrients had been taken in the first place, the medications could have been avoided all together?
